“Farmer Markets are My Jaaaamm!

“Living a healthy lifestyle is having a balance between a good variety in my diet and out and being active. I’m very passionate about eating well. For lunch today, I made southwestern quinoa with corn, red peppers, black beans, and cumin. My motivation for making my meals comes from wanting something nice to eat between classes. I change up what I eat every day and make sure I have a good mix of fruit, fiber, fat, and carbs like pasta or quinoa, and veggies.”

“Where do you go shopping for your ingredients?”

“I love Trader Joe’s! They have such a good selection of organic foods and their people are friendly. And farmer’s markets are my jaaammm! I love shopping there on weekend mornings.”
