“Walking is good. I walk to and from the capitol; I walk from my apartment in north campus. I take the bus as little as possible. I also go to the gym early in the morning. I love cardio – cardio is my thing. I used to teach dance at the Y. I also have strong thighs and I’m proud of that. I can bike a marathon in two hours. I like exercise; it makes me feel good.
My favorite fruit is strawberries. I do a lot with them. I put them in yogurt, with granola, in smoothies, and I sometimes sprinkle a little sugar on them. If you want something that tastes good and is also healthy, fresh fruit is sweet tasting but not candy!”
